Our story began in 2014, when we first met through mutual friends. However, it was on July 25th, 2017, when we decided to go on a hike, which we consider our unofficial first date. On our way there, we casually snapped a photo in the car, not realizing that the following year, on July 25th, 2018, we would also take a video together going on a road trip with our friends (it won’t upload here, but we promise it exists). On July 25th, 2019, we were hanging out when Snapchat Memories reminded us that ‘One Year Ago’ & ‘Two Years Ago’, we had taken photos together. Of course, we had to take another photo, & the tradition of taking a photo together on July 25th began. We officially started dating a couple months later, in October 2019, and each year we have kept up with this tradition, no matter where we were, what we looked like, or how bad the lighting was (hence the top-notch photo quality).

For the past couple of years, we've also spent a week in July camping & exploring the San Juan Islands, where it's quickly become one of our favorite places.

So, we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate & commemorate our special day than to be in the San Juan Islands on July 25th. :)
