Q + A

Do I need a reservation for the ferry?

We definitely recommend making a reservation as soon as you can. The summer schedule was released on April 16th at 10 am, and they tend to fill fast for the summer. If you are at all considering coming to the wedding, we recommend reserving a spot as soon as you are able to. If you are on the fence on whether you can make it, you can still reserve a spot on the ferry for peace of mind, & if you are not able to make it you can always cancel the ferry before 5PM the day before it's scheduled without being charged. If there are no more spots available, they will release more spots two weeks before the sailing date as well as options to be on stand by. When should I arrive?

We ask that you arrive by 3:30 pm to have time to enjoy a welcome beverage & find a seat before the ceremony.

Is there parking on site?

Yes! Once you enter the farm, follow the guided signs for where to park. If you're planning to stay overnight, just note that all vehicles must leave the property by 11:00 am on the following day (26th).

Is there a dress code?

Dressy casual to semi-formal. Note to the girlies: We will be outside, so just keep that in mind when choosing shoes ;)

So, we can camp on the venue?

Yes! :) We know travelling to the San Juan Islands is a bit of a journey, so we were super excited when Emma & Wiley, our hosts, opened up their farm for guests to camp! Camping is free to our guests, just bring your tent or tent trailer, pick a spot on the land, & enjoy your time! The farm's inn will have a bathroom, shower, & kitchen available for your use. Breakfast will be provided on the following day at the inn, but please let us know if you are planning to camp in your RSVP (or message us later if you are undecided) so we know how many people to prepare breakfast for. We know camping isn't for everyone, so if you are still looking to stay overnight on the island, we have gathered a list of options of inns, hotels, & Airbnb's available at the bottom of the tab 'Travel + Venue'.

I can't stay overnight, can i still come?

We completely understand if you aren't able to stay on the island overnight. A day trip to the San Juan's is still very doable, feel free to contact us as we can help you figure out the best ferry schedule time to head out.
