Ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbor
The ferry to Friday Harbor from Anacortes is the best way to get to San Juan Island. You can find the ferry schedule & fees located at the website linked below. The schedule for the summer will be released around April 16th, we recommend making reservations early (more info in our Q + A section).
In our experience, you will want to get to the ferry terminal at least 30-45 minutes before the ferry docks to be able to pay the roundtrip toll & secure your spot in line. While you can reserve a spot prior, spots still aren't guaranteed if you don't show up early.
The ferry ride is approximately 1 hour from Anacortes to Friday Harbor, so plan accordingly! The ride there is gorgeous & a great time to relax, play a card game, or read a book. Bathrooms & snacks are available once in line for the ferry at the ferry terminal as well as on the ferry. Once you get to Friday Harbor, the farm is about a 13 minute drive from the ferry terminal! :)
Saturn's Return — Farm & Inn
Our wedding ceremony & reception will be held at Saturn's Return Farm & Inn, located in Friday Harbor, just a 13 min drive from the Friday Harbor ferry dock.
Emma & Wiley, our hosts at Saturn's Return, have created a beautiful space with walking trails you can explore, acres of land to roam, & have generously offered their land for you to camp overnight if you wish!
While the inn will be reserved for family & the wedding party, the inn is open for your use with an accessible shared bathroom, shower, & kitchen for those who are camping.
If you choose to stay on the farm overnight, we kindly ask that you are mindful of their 11 am check out time on Friday.
